The Ø12 mm cutter turns at 18,000 rpm and feeds at 9 m/min, 0.25 mm per tooth. The tip sits 220 mm below the A pivot, so every degree of tilt moves the pivot, and the controller's tool-centre-point mode (RTCP) moves X, Y and Z to put the tip back: tilt the head and the gantry, carriage and ram all shift while the tip stays still. Going round the panel, C turns a full 360° so the tool always leans into the part.
